Business overview

In February 2006 we opened in a small workshop in Seaford. During the last 6 years our business has grown rapidly in the mechanical, LPG Conversions and Engine Reconditioning areas.  We have established the business in our purpose built facility and now have all the capabilities of a fully optioned machine shop for engine reconditioning. We are an RAA Approved Repairer and recently added Air Conditioning to our capabilities.

Our highly qualified staff have many years of experience and are well respected within the industry.

I began my apprenticeship in 1969 as an Engine Reconditioner under William Hudd / South Cott Pty Ltd. I spent the next 18 years in a management role with Repco, Southern Engine and Gearbox and API Engines at Lonsdale. I have now joined the Mec-Tec Performance team and look forward to the challenge of developing our full machine shop and engine reconditioning capability.

Frank Rismondo

I commenced my training as an engine reconditioner at Lonsdale engines completing in 2001. I have worked for Transfield and Clipsal as a machinist until opening our family business in 2006. I am a qualified LPG fitter, air conditioning technician as well as an engine reconditioner. The expansion of Mec-Tec Performance and the purchasing of equipment has been an exciting time. I look forward to learning from working along side of Frank.
